Our Efforts to Support our Customers, Associates & Community

To do our part in our community and help stop the spread of COVID-19, Better Living has decided that until further notice there will be no customers, vendors or visitors  permitted inside the storeThere are alternate options though to make sure you get what you need.

  • The following are ways to place your order:
    • By Phone
      • Berkmar / Charlottesville Location (434)-973-4333
      • or our Zion Crossroads Location (434)-591-2200
    • By Email (call one of the numbers above for a salesman’s email)
    • Walk up windows at both locations. They will be located at the back of the building and will be clearly marked with signs that say “Place Orders Here”
  • There are sales windows that have been set up for the building supply at each location.  Customers can work through the window to place orders and get showroom supplies that they purchase.  There are three windows at Berkmar and two at Troy.  Yard employees are retrieving the pickup paperwork from the windows as well.  This reduction in face-to-face traffic should help ensure appropriate action to maintain the safety of our employees and customers.
  • Note that we will not be accepting returned packaged merchandise from the yard, or ANY merchandise from inside of the store until we return to normal business operations. It is the CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY to store and protect any merchandise that you plan on returning.  Merchandise that is damaged or muddy will not receive credit.  We have been fairly lenient in the past, but this rule will be strictly enforced.

As always, stay safe.  Please continue to take precautions, using sanitizer and washing hands frequently and maintaining social distancing.
